The Shed is not responsible for the behavior of each dog participating in this class. It is up to the owner to keep dogs leashed at ALL times per public laws. Owners must bring poop bags and must take home any waste bags.
What We’ll Cover:
Learn how to build clear communication with your dog, introduce leash pressure in a way they can understand, and use engagement and rewards to keep your dog focused on you. These foundational skills create calmer, more enjoyable walks and set the stage for long-term success.
Who This Class Is For:
This class is perfect for new dog owners or anyone struggling with leash pulling and wanting to build better walking habits. To keep the class safe and productive, it is not suitable for reactive dogs. If your dog is reactive, private coaching is available for more personalized support.
What You’ll Leave With:
By the end of the class, you’ll have a better understanding of how to communicate with your dog on leash, practical techniques to reduce pulling, and the confidence to continue building loose-leash walking at home. You’ll walk away with the foundation needed to make daily walks calmer, more enjoyable, and rewarding for both you and your dog.
What to Bring:
We will meet at The Shed and Walk over to the Parking structure down the street with plenty of room for the dogs to move.
Your Dog, Slip leashes, and treats!
