Class Description:
You are precious! Young people today are under a lot of pressure that can leave them feeling like they aren’t enough. In this fun and creative collage workshop, we’ll explore the idea that the pressures around us are real, but they don’t define our worth. Each participant will create a diamond collage as a reminder of their value and strength while exploring the many facets of who they are and who they are becoming. Leave with a meaningful piece of art that celebrates your full, multifaceted self. No art experience necessary.
Good for:
Youth ages 12-15 who enjoy creative projects and want to explore self-expression, identity, and personal growth through collage. No art experience needed.
What they will leave with:
Participants will leave with a finished or nearly finished diamond collage, a fuller sense of who they are and who they are becoming, and a creative reminder of their value and strength.
About the Instructor:
Susan Sanelli Hammack is an expressive art faciliator, she does trauma-informed coaching and provides adolescents support through creative exploration.
Cost:
This class will be based on a sliding scale, so pay the amount you are most comfortable with.
