Classes Start on July 14th, Tuesday, and July 16th, Thursday. No commitments, just sign up for the days you can attend. Regular attendance will improve your game much quicker.
If you child is interested in learning to play real volleyball with no commitments, then come join our fun and engaging Basic Volleyball Skills Clinic, perfect for 4th–6th graders! No experience is required—just bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Participants will master the fundamentals of passing, serving, moving, and hitting, while enjoying teamwork and making new friends. Discover the excitement of volleyball in a fun supportive environment! Clinics will be run like a Club team practice.
They will start with warmup drills with partners follow by basic drills to learn form and movement. As the weeks progress, different skills will be taught. Kids will play mini games to learn the rules of the game, how to communicate and move to the ball on a sand or grass court depending on conditions.
Location: This class will meet at Kennedy Grove, on the sand court by the play structure.

What to bring:
Water bottle, Sunscreen, a towel, sand socks or thick socks (if you have them, in case sand is hot), Snack if needed.
Meet your instructors:
Coach Addison , a junior at Miramonte High who has been playing volleyball since she was 11. She has been playing club volleyball as a Hitter and defensive specialist. She played on her middle and High school teams. She was a Jr. Coach for the Moraga Volleyball youth clinics. Addison is great with kids! They all seem to flock to her!
Coach Mona, has played volleyball most of her life as a setter, serving specialist and Libero. She currently coaches middle school girls volleyball at Orinda Intermediate and taught afterschool volleyball classes at Olinda and Valley View Elementary. She coached 2 years of High school volleyball at Hercules High, 2 years as a 12U Club Coach and now Middle School. She enjoys helping kids learn the sport and gain confidence in themselves along with learning to be a team player!
