3/7, 14, 21, 28, 2-4PM: Water Color Painting, A Series of 4 Classes

Stephanie Slade is an EMMY award-winning broadcast designer and artist, she will be offering a series of 4 painting classes which you can register for 1 or all 4 for a discounted price.  You can expect to paint an original painting from each class and a feeling of relaxation and fun!

Materials will be provided Water Color Paper, Paints, Brushes, Palettes

Good for:  12 years old and up

Four  Saturday classes are available in March:

• Saturday, March 7 - 2-4PM, Natures Palette wet on wet

• Saturday, March 14 - 2-4PM, Natures Palette Wet on Dry

• Saturday, March 21 - 2-4PM, Mixed media collage and Abstracts

• Saturday, March 28 - 2-4PM, Spring with flowers, birds, butterflies and mountains

About the Instructor for this Series:

Stephanie Slade B.A. Art. Recreational therapy. And Masters in Media Education

Stephanie Slade is an EMMY award-winning broadcast designer and artist . She has used her background as an artist to create an impressive portfolio of acrylics, digital, mixed media, and water color. As a dedicated artist, designer and educator she shares her expertise with students of all ages. Her paintings have been accepted to be presented from March to July 2026 at the El Cerrito Department of Motor Vehicles. Her artwork has been shown in galleries around the Bay area including the San Francisco Women’s Art Gallery.

Stephanie is deeply committed to giving art students a relaxing and fun painting experience and a way to enjoy community engagement with no experience necessary. One of her students who never painted before explained,
"Now I see the world in color and form and even taking a walk I look at the flowers and trees and the view of the Bay area from a new perspective. Just love Stephanie and her teaching. Her class opened up a whole new way of looking at my world." Slade art class opens a door for creativity and connection among the participants. Passionate about both teaching and making art she offers art classes at community centers and privately. Residing in San Pablo, CA Stephanie enjoys hiking at Kennedy Grove, Zumba and playing ukelele and drums in community sing-alongs.
