Let's do something fun before Easter! The Shed will host this child friendly fairy class to create a Bunny, Carrot Fairy, and/or Mini Succulent Basket, to help celebrate Easter!
A great class for kids from 1st - 6th grade! A beloved favorite after school class at Olinda and Valleyview Elementary!
If your child loves magical creatures and enjoys crafting, we have a great workshop they will love! Inspired by Alice Wong of Wands & Willows and her beautiful creations, we’ll be using floral petals, wood beads, embroidery floss, yarn, pipe cleaners, felt, and ribbons to create unique dolls in a series of classes coming in the future (Princess, Mermaid, Witches, Fall & Winter Fairy fairies), winter elves and gnomes. Each student will choose from different color options for hair, dresses, and accessories, making each doll unique. Accessories and glitter will be available for those who want to get super creative.
We will be using kids scissors, Hot Glue Gun and sticks. We will all learn how to use a hot glue gun and finger protectors will be provided. Adults can help child use hot glue gun if needed. All Materials will be provided.
The Instructor:
The class will be taught by Mona Chin, who's a substitute teacher at the local elementary schools and has been teaching afterschool classes at both Olinda and Valleyview Elementary.
