Join the Kids' Soil Science Lab, a fun and interactive workshop where children become soil scientists for the day! Led by our local Scientist and Science Educator, David Lozano, PhD, this STEM-focused event offers station-based activities like exploring soil textures, racing for water drainage, classifying rocks, and drawing scientific hypotheses. Ideal for ages 3 and up, it's a perfect way for kids to learn, play, and investigate soil. No experience needed, just curiosity!
Based on interest levels, we hope to form a science club for kids, so they can start engaging in the world of science.
Registration and drop-ins are welcome! It will run along side with our normal Sunday Art Table so Kids can do both. $1 donation is appreciated to help offset the cost for materials. Pre-register to help us gauge how much material to have on hand.
